“Guardami – Look at me” - Pepi Merisio

Description

A large exhibition dedicated to the photographic genius of Pepi Merisio which inaugurates the new exhibition space at the Sestini Photography Museum. It will be held in the Upper Town, in the charming Convent of San Francesco from May 9th to October 20th.

More than 250 shots chosen by the artist, divided into 5 thematic sections: Family, the Former East, Work, Life and Morning Star. An original selection of vintage images printed by Merisio between 1960 and 1970 is displayed for each section. The shots sometimes narrate stories of everyday life while sometimes leaving room for the great figures, including Pope Paul VI.
