Description

Bergamo, Brescia and Crema's historic private homes open their doors to visitors!

The owners of the most beautiful historic residences in the Bergamo, Brescia and Crema area will lead you on the discovery of their homes, secret and fascinating places, rich in history and art.
Do you know that the great Hermann Hesse called Palazzo Terzi "one of the most beautiful corners of Italy, one of the many little surprises and joys for which it is worth travelling"? At Villa Pesenti Agliardi the photograph of Maria Montessori was taken which was later used for the portrait of the educator on the thousand-lira notes. At Villa Vitalba Lurani Cernuschi, more precisely in the Sala degli Uccelli more than 50 different species of birds are depicted, works of the original fresco by Gandino Quirino Salvatoni. Ermanno Olmi made the film "The Craft of Arms" at Palazzo Barbò.
Discover all the curiosities of the historic homes during the "Sundays at the Villas, Palazzi and Castles...": together with the owners you will retrace the history of their homes and some important events that took place within the walls of these historic homes.

The historic homes contain an unparalleled artistic and cultural heritage. The opportunity to enter these homes so full of history is a unique experience not to be missed.
