At an altitude of 1265m, Resegone is on the list of easily accessible mountain refuges and is managed by the subsection CAI Valle Imagna.
With an hour's walk from Brumano (path 587) or from the nearby village of Fuipiano (path 578) you reach the refuge admiring the Imagna Valley, narrow and winding but lush, where human intervention is barely visible.
The structure has 20 beds and 100 seats in the restaurant: 60 seats inside and 40 outside. The management is entrusted to the CAI volunteer members of the subsection: divided into seven groups each team is specialised in a particular dish that repeats when it is at the refuge. Just like Alpe Corte, it is a refuge without barriers, it is suitable for everyone.
The Resegone Mountain Refuge can be a destination or a resting place: you can decide to continue to make the entire circumnavigation of Resegone or to reach the summit, where the Azzoni Mountain Refuge is located.
