BergamoScienza 2019

Description

BergamoScienza returns from 5th to 20th October with the XVII edition.

Sixteen days of conferences, meetings, shows and workshops dedicated to science.

Numerous interventions with world-renowned scientists, in which, with simple and informative language, the most diverse scientific fields will be explained.

This year the program focuses on the issues of environmental sustainability and artificial intelligence.

Just like every year, we will have the opportunity to meet famous people from the scientific scene, to name a few: Barry Sharpless, Nobel Prize for chemistry in 2001, Mark Jacobson, director of the program on atmosphere and energy of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Stanford University; David Quammen, American writer; Miguel Nicolelis, Brazilian scientist, the biologist Elisabetta Dejana, and Rick Morimoto, molecular biologist.

During the festival, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the moon landing, the stories of Leonardo Da Vinci and Galileo Galilei will be explored.
