Description

Experience, professionalism and quality. These are the three key words that have distinguished Salvi Bike Store for over 70 years in the world of two wheels. The shop is located in Zogno, in the middle of the Brembana Valley, and represents a real point of reference for all bicycle lovers, from simple enthusiasts to professionals.

From the Salvi Bike Store not only can you buy bicycles of all kinds and a wide range of accessories, but you can also hire bikes – either normal bikes or pedal assisted - for a ride along the Brembo River Bicycle Trail or for excursions around Bergamo province’s beautiful landscapes. Sales staff are always at your disposal to help their customers select the most suitable product.

But that’s not all. Salvi Bike Store is also a cycling school with Salvibikeschool. The school offers high level practical lessons, during which you can learn all about the various components of the bicycle.

The owners of the shop, brothers Franco and Giuliano, are the true heart of Salvi Bike Store. Always attentive and at your disposal, they will be able to advise you on the type of bicycle to hire or buy.

Giuliano, Technical Director of Salvibikeschool, has been working alongside his father since 1988, helping run the family business which opened in 1942. Expert in the technical area thanks to his experience which begun in 1992 as a National Military technical assistant at the Cycling World Championships, he continued until 1997 as the Italian MTB National Technical Consultant, while from 1993 to 1998 he was the Technical Manager of the “International Cycling Team Bianchi Racing Department”, present on the racetracks throughout the continents alongside athletes of historic “Bianchi”.

Franco works alongside his brother Giuliano in all activities. He is involved in the implementation of teaching protocols, the realisation of workshops and the internships. From 1987 to today he has carried out various activities related to the two-wheeled world in the Brembana Valley, such as the projects "Ecomuseo Valle Taleggio" and "La Valle dei Formaggi – Valley of the Cheeses" and for cycling routes, "Ciclostrada della Valle Taleggio". He also organises various sporting events, among which are the two editions of the Italian MTB Downhill FCI Championship, Monte Poieto Aviatico in 2001 and Valtorta in 1998.

A family passion that can only conquer all those who want to become part of the bicycle world!
