Il Tagliere

Il Tagliere

Description

The restaurant, started by the Buzzoni family in 1978, has been managed by his son Ivan and his wife Claudia since 2002. The environment is warm and welcoming and there is family atmosphere. You will immediately feel at home.

Ivan takes care of the kitchen and its delicacies while Claudia cares about the details of the dining room and attends to the customers. The veranda with a view is a real gem.

The strictly homemade cuisine offers typically traditional dishes from Bergamo (Casoncelli, Pizzoccheri, Cacciagione and polenta taragna) with some personalised additions. It is worth mentioning the lard with honey chestnuts, the Branzi cheese fritters, a particular favourite, deer with herbs, pork shin smoked in the wood-fired oven, sliced beef on a hot stone and meat on a stick. In season: fried and flambé mushrooms, chestnut gnocchi, pumpkin gnocchi and dishes with a base of local herbs: Parùc (Buon Enrico herb, a kind of wild spinach) and Curnagì (silene). In the evening, you can also have pizza cooked in the wood-fire oven, for the more glutinous we recommend the pizza Della Casa with Branzi cheese and ...

To finish, Ivan’s homemade desserts await you, from the classics such as Tiramisu, Pannacotta, Walnut Crostata and Caramel Strudel, as well as seasonal desserts such as Pears cooked in red wine with cinnamon ice-cream…

The verandah with a view is a real treat, book a table here.

Thanks to Ivan's passion there is a good selection of wines, especially red, with some great labels and a rich selection of spirits.

Possibility of custom menus for groups and ceremonies.
