Bergamo Running Tour

Are you a sports-addicted and would like to spend some good time in Bergamo? Keep yourself in shape and join this a spectacular city tour across the city. You can explore the ancient districts, admire the Bergamo’s green parks and the Venetian Walls while running. 


Choose one of the two itineraries:

 “Percorso Classico” track is 10,7 km long, medium difficulty. You will run across the streets of the medieval city centre and overlook the Walls that give onto the plain. You will also pass across the XIX century part of the city.
The itinerary includes some uphill stretches, with a 6% average steepness. The longest uphill distance is 140 meters. The uphill phase has an average pace of 6 minutes and 10 seconds per km, while the downhill pace is 4 minutes and 45 seconds per km, so that you can finish the whole circuit in about one hour.  You can get some rest at the 7th km and drink from a fountain. 

“Percorso di Carrara” track is 4,5 km long, low difficulty. You will run across Bergamo’s Greenway, all along streams and meadows, while on your way back you can admire the sumptuous palaces of the city. The itinerary includes some uphill stretches, with a 4% average steepness. The longest uphill distance measures 65 meters. The uphill phase has an average pace of 6 minutes and 30 seconds per km, while the downhill pace is 4 minutes and 50 seconds per km, you that you can complete the entire circuit in 40 minutes approximately.  You can get some rest and drink from a fountain at the end of the track.
