Terre del Colleoni d.o.c.

Terre del Colleoni d.o.c.

Description

This young D.O.C. wine from Bergamo is dedicated to Bartolomeo Colleoni, the renowned condottiere born in Solza, near the Adda River, in XV Century.
Expanding the territory where D.O.C. Valcalepio wine is produced, the production area extends northwards from the Orobie Mountains and eastwards from Lake Iseo and the Oglio River, mostly at foothills and in a hilly area. This allowed the production of exquisite wines made with local grape varieties: many local wine companies have been producing them for several years and have recently been awarded with the D.O.C. quality certification.

The brand “Terre del Colleoni” includes fourteen types of wine:

- Still white wines: Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Incrocio Manzoni, Yellow Muscat;
- Yellow Muscat Raisin Wine
- Still red wines: Schiava, Merlot, Marzemino, Cabernet, Franconia, Incrocio Terzi;
- Young wine
- Sparkling wine: Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris and Incrocio Manzoni.
