Del Rosso Michela

Del Rosso Michela

Description

“You can’t move a single stone, it would be a crime”. This is what Le Corbusier, architect, urbanist, painter and designer, said while visiting Bergamo in 1949.

I am Michela, an architect and tour guide.

My guided tours can be "personalised" combining art, history, tradition, craftsmanship and eno-gastronomic pleasures in both the city and the province of Bergamo.

Individuals, groups, school groups and company visits.

The spoken languages are ITALIAN, ENGLISH, SPANISH and DANISH.

Come with me to the Upper Town, amongst the old medieval districts, where I was born, raised and still have the pleasure of living!

Together we can discover Bergamo’s double soul; the Old City and its hills, the extraordinary green oasis and the ‘modern’ Lower Town, which has flanked it without damaging it.

Enrich your trip with exceptional experiences related to the territory!

Live with me a "Like a Local" Experience!

City Routes

#TODAY’S CRAFTSMEN AND YESTERDAY’S CORPORATIONS: A Tour of the Upper Town intertwined with a visit to some artisan workshops using old traditions that, despite globalisation, still survive and thrive. Guests will be able to see the artisans at work, the hands of those who create the much-appreciated “Made in Italy”.

#CITTA' ALTA BY NIGHT-MOSCATO AND BELLS: Immersed in a magical evening atmosphere, sipping a glass of Moscato di Scanzo, awaiting the hundred hypnotic bells of the Campanone (Bell Tower), we discover the Upper Town by night.

#A SIP OF HISTORY: A Guided Tour of the Astino Monastery and Biodiversity Valley. We retrace the life of the monastery, discovering its mysteries and curiosities through the exploration of the most picturesque environments. We observe the cultivations that led to the biological revival of the Valley. We conclude by tasting the Km Zero Craft Beer, dedicated to the Monastery.

#TO ALL BEER: Two and half kilometres from the Upper Town to the hops fields of the Astino Monastery. A guided walk in one of the most prestigious, scenic and naturalistic areas of Bergamo. A fascinating experience ending with an inebriating tasting!

... Let's go down to the Lower Town ...

#BERGAMO IN THE 1800S: A journey through history, styles and ideas. We walk through the streets and buildings of the city center to recognise what we have right in front of us every day, but that we are too distracted to look at properly. A SUGGESTED TRIP FOR DIDACTIC SCHOOL EXCURSIONS.
