Locanda dell’Annunciata restaurant was established in 2013 by two old friends, Giampo and Silvana, who shared the same love for Italian food. This old country house, which used to be a roadhouse back in the Twenties and an Augustinian convent over the past centuries, offers the best traditional dishes reinterpreted in a modern view, so that both the old and the new friends who believe that good old food is a pleasure for the soul and the body, can enjoy them. In fact, as Mr Skyes would say, ““Although it is no longer how it used to, it’s a start”
The menu’s leading actors are all the cuts of Piedmont beef, including the forequarters. Along with the stew, the steak slice, the loin or the kidney with mushrooms, and the sautéed liver and spleen with asparagus, there are also the stockfish and the salmon marinated in sugar and ginger; moreover, you can also find the fried shad with vinegar, the fish soup and the mixed fried fish. Exquisite cured meats and Lombard cheeses complete the menu: the food of the past meets our fantasy, for our guests’ delight.

-Tata’s meatloaf, with bread, tuna and mortadella served with melted butter.
- Rigatoni pesto, green beans and prawns with pecorino cheese
- Yellow risotto with asparagus and sausage

- Tuscan “ribollita soup” with kale
