OSTERIA DI VALENTI

OSTERIA DI VALENTI

Description

The Osteria Valenti opened in the 70s as a butcher, then transformed into an Osteria. In 2017 it passed ownership to Marco Maffeis, well-known restaurant manager and Professional Sommelier. In 2018 the restaurant underwent a careful restoration and a total change of course. In addition to grilled meat, traditional Bergamasco dishes have been included on the menu as well as a careful selection of local cheeses from our valleys. The fresh pasta is handcrafted, while the desserts are homemade. The menu is revisited seasonally. During the winter, upon reservation, it is possible to taste the mixed boiled meat with various sauces and the tasty "trip around the pig" with polenta.

The unmissable dish: for lovers of grilled meat, the Fiorentina di Scottona Garronese on hot lava stone. For lovers of the Bergamasco tradition, an excellent dish of hand-made casoncelli. The Osteria offers a selected wine list with national labels and a particular focus on local wines. From Monday for lunch there are various proposals for work lunches, while for dinner you can dine à la carte. Customers are welcomed by a warm and friendly atmosphere.
