ALBANI MOUNTAIN REFUGE

Description

At the foot of the Queen of the Orobie, the Presolana, the Albani refuge is located at 1939m in the municipality of Colere, in the Scalve Valley.

The last stage of the Orobie Path is a transit through the Porta Pass’s via ferrata, climbing the northern wall of the Presolana or the Vascello Cliff.

In the locality of Lago del Polzone, 2½ hours from Colere along path 402 or path 403 starting from the locality of Carbonera, or alternatively you can arrive from Ardesio, from the Möschel Mountain Cabin in 3 hours along path 311.

It can also be reached in winter thanks to the Colere ski slopes.

The property has 40 beds and the internal dining room can accommodate 50 people and while the outdoor tables can accommodate 40, for a total of 90 seats.

Numerous events and initiatives are organised during the summer.
