Piazzatorre is a perfect holiday destination 365 days a year, thanks to the extraordinary quality of the natural environment, which makes it suitable as both a winter ski resort and a summer health resort.
The ski lifts are situated on the sun-drenched slopes of Monte Torcola (2,000 m), a natural haven for snow lovers where it is possible to practise alpine skiing, tobogganing, sledging, snowshoeing, snowboarding, freeriding and ski mountaineering in total safety.
The ski area boasts modern ski lifts and pistes of varying lengths and levels of difficulty, including the “Pista del Bosco” (Forest Piste), one of the most beautiful and challenging runs in the province of Bergamo, which winds its way through a splendid pine forest for 4 km, covering a difference in altitude of 700m.
HOW TO GET THERE:
From Bergamo, take the Valle Brembana trunk road until Lenna.
From Lenna, continue on the Lenna-Mezzoldo provincial road until the junction for
Piazzatorre (45 km). After another 3 km, you will arrive in Piazzatorre.
