Situated at the foot of a hill, ten kilometres from Bergamo, the seventeenth-century Villa Pesenti-Agliardi was extended and renovated in 1798 by Leopold Pollack, with an innovative project with key Neo-Classical reinterpretation both of the house and gardens.
In the villa, you can admire the chapel, the monumental staircase, the rooms decorated with considerable frescoes and stuccos. Following Pietro Pesenti’s death in 1826, the villa was left to his niece Marianna Agliardi.
