AL VECCHIO TAGLIERE

AL VECCHIO TAGLIERE

Description

From one of the most central streets in lower Bergamo, Via Sant’Alessandro, you enter a narrow covered passageway that ends on a small square. A well-kept and slightly hidden corner that reveals a peaceful sanctuary, despite being within walking distance of the shopping streets. And in this square, you  will find Al Vecchio tagliere, a restaurant where the motto is hospitality!

The restaurant is located on the ground floor and, during the summer, you can eat outside in the square.

The Menu

The menu at Al Vecchio Tagliere consists of tasting boards (a dozen options), hot or cold dishes based on cured meats, cheeses, vegetables and polenta.

The first and second courses are linked to the territory’s tradition and the culinary history of our region.

All dishes are simple and carefully prepared, aimed at enhancing the aromas and flavours characteristic of the raw materials.

The dishes are accompanied by a careful and accurate wine list coming from all over Italy.

In addition to the à la carte menu, you can choose the tasting menu for at least two people, consisting of traditional Bergamasco dishes. At lunchtime, the fixed price menu offers you a good choice of first and second courses.
