The Fondazione Donizetti welcomes an autumn full of lively cultural activity by proposing a modern opera dedicated to the career of the showgirl who accompanied, and sometimes inspired, the transformation of Italian society over the last fifty years. It will be an opportunity not only for entertainment, but also for reflection on the role of the artist, art and media in society.
Created by Francesco Micheli and directed by Carlo Boccadoro to a libretto by Ciaravino and Mattioli, the show will be staged at the Teatro Donizetti between late September and early October. The four performances will be preceded by Raffa Days, participatory events open to all.
