The GAMeC inaugurates 2023 with the third and final chapter of the exhibition project dedicated to the investigation of matter in contemporary art.
Come to GAMeC to discover the works of the great pioneers of digital art: you will be able to explore the theme of dematerialisation, emptiness and flows as they have been seen by the avant-gardes of the last two centuries, thanks to numerous works on loan from private and international collections.
The exhibition touches on both the post-war period and the era of the first computerisation, reaching the post-digital period with its new languages and virtual realities. Immerse yourself in the three thematic sections of the exhibition and tackle many past and current themes together with the artists, such as the relationship between real and virtual and the impact of simulations on our way of perceiving reality.
Among the novelties, also a new installation from the Nested Landscapes series.
