RULES FOR THE PRIZE COMPETITION

PUBLICATION

The competition will be published through:

the website www.visitbergamo.net, the official Facebook page, a Google Adwords campaign, and possibly through the official Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram accounts.

Advertising messages promoting the competition conform to these rules.

HOW THE COMPETITION WORKS

INSTANT WIN

To enter, visit the website www.visitbergamo.net and register by filling in the form correctly, including all the required details.

Everyone who registers during the week will be entered in the two random draws to win:

1 basket of typical Bergamo food products worth €50.00 and

1 2-night stay at a B&B in Bergamo or Bergamo province valid for 2 people and worth €100.00.

The prizes will be awarded via instant-win draw software supplied by New Target Web s.r.l. The software is operated and certified (with a dedicated technical report) according to article 9(1) of Presidential Decree 430/2011.

If you do not win, then you can enter again the next week.

If you do win, then you will be informed via email at the address you gave when you REGISTERED.

To validate a win, you must email redazione@visitbergamo.net within 8 (eight) days of being informed about your win, attaching the following documentation: a scan of your valid identity document (front and back) and your tax code.

The ‘basket of typical Bergamo food products’ prize will be shipped to winners residing within the Schengen Area of the UE.

Prizes won by citizens residing outside of the Schengen Area of the EU can either be delivered to a valid EU address or collected from the Iat Office in town upon prior agreement with Turismo Bergamo.

flour, casoncelli filled pasta, Bergamo salami, formaggella cheese, honey and red wine.

Entrants should notice that, due to its nature, the ‘basket of typical Bergamo food products’ shall only be shipped to addresses within the Schengen Area of the EU. Prizes won by entrants residing outside of the Schengen Area can either be delivered to valid EU addresses or collected in Bergamo upon agreement with Turismo Bergamo. 

PRIZE FUND

The company will offer the prize, as described, to the total value of €3,000.00 inc. VAT.

When the competition ends, everyone who registered during the competition without winning at the Instant win will be entered in a draw for all prizes that have been declined.

UNCLAIMED OR UNASSIGNED PRIZES

Unclaimed or unassigned prizes will be donated to FONDAZIONE BANCO ALIMENTARE DI BERGAMO (Bergamo food bank) of Via Legnone 4, Milan (tax code 97075370151).

• THE SERVERSthat store and process the data and run all the stages of the event, with IP address in the ranges199.83.128.1–199.83.135.254, 198.143.32.1–198.143.63.254, 149.126.72.1–149.126.79.254, 103.28.248.1–103.28.251.254, 185.11.124.1–185.11.127.254, 45.64.64.0–45.64.67.255 and 192.230.64.1–192.230.127.254, are duly located in Italy, at the company Sfera Network s.r.l. in Treviolo (in Bergamo province). To draw the final prizes, the data will be processed and stored by New Target Web s.r.l. of Via Buratti 3, Bergamo.
• New Target Web s.r.l. accepts no liability if a fault in the Internet or telephone network prevents you from entering the competition or prevents the competition from running. New Target Web s.r.l. takes all reasonable steps to provide you with information and/or materials that have been checked. Therefore, New Target Web s.r.l. accepts no liability if errors occur, if information is not available, and/or if you are unable to use the application from your particular computer and/or mobile app.
• If you entervia Facebook, whether you win or not, the promoter may ask you at any time during the prize competition for proof that you registered on Facebook before the competition began (that is, before 21 June 2015); alternatively, the promoter may obtain that proof independently. If you provide no proof or the promoter cannot obtain it independently, then you will be debarred from the competition.
• If you enter, you must do everything necessary to protect your information and/or software programs stored on your computer and telephone against any intrusion by third parties. If you connect to the website and enter the competition, then you are entirely and solely responsible for your actions.
• New Target Web s.r.l. accepts no liability if the following problems occur: – hardware, software or telephone-connection problems – loss of information provided by entrants and/or winners for reasons beyond New Target Web s.r.l.’s control – human and/or computer errors – disruption of any kind that may impair or impede the competition’s normal running.
  •   Under article 7 of Legislative Decree 196/2003, entrants may view their data, have it modified, or object to its use, by writing at any time to privacy@ntnext.it.
  •   New Target Web s.r.l. employees and their family members are not allowed to enter the competition.
  •   The promoter company waives its right to redeem the 25% withholding tax under article 30 of Presidential Decree no. 600 of 29/9/1973.
  • The developers of the software used to select winners and allocate prizes will certify that the software does so at random and is secure from intrusion, by providing a written technical report to that effect.

That document is attached to the documentation sent to the Ministry of Economic Development as part of the competition launch.
