Le Cornelle Wildlife Park

Description

Since 1981, Le Cornelle Wildlife Park has been hosting numerous animals from all over the Planet, inside its 100.000 square meters of surface. Wide spaces, accurate recreations of natural habitats and no chain: you can see up close the Park’s animals, thanks to the low fences!
The Park is visited by many school groups, but also families looking for a different day, among tropical trees inhabited by lemurs, or walking along the ice tanks of the polar bears. In fact, Le Cornelle hosts every kind of animal: walking across the park, you will experience an amazing and unforgettable journey to each continent. Besides the numerous animals, you will also find many restoration and picnic areas in the nature!

A lot of animals were born in the Park, demonstrating the high quality of their life. One of the main goals of Le Cornelle is the protection of endangered species and the conservation of biodiversity. Moreover, education, information and consciousness about threatened species are the Park’s core values.

Do you know where the Park’s name comes from?

It comes from the stones of the river Brembo, which runs along the Park: in fact, the stream moulds them in the shape of little horns, in Italian “cornelle”.
