At 1200 metres above sea level, in the locality of Ganda, the Orobie Pre-Alps Astronomical Observatory hosts many activities related to the study of stars and planets.

Managed by the members of C.a.b., the amateur astronomy Club of Bergamo, it allows you to discovery astronomy, with explanations about the field and theoretical ideas about light curves.

And, during the day, can you enter? Of course! Thanks to special filters, you can admire the sun without risk.

You can go and admire the stars up close at night on the first Friday of the month (closed in January). The evenings start at 9pm with an astronomical themed conference and followed by an observation of the sky, with the available telescopes.

The observatory is in the mountains, we recommend suitable clothing and the use of a torch to reach the building.

Possibility of paid private visits with groups of at least 20 people but you must arrange it with the C.a.b. guides.
