Il Montizzolo farm is an important company in the Lower Bergamo area, with a traditional pig breeding farm inside the old Montizzolo estate.

In 2013, the Merigo family decided to redesign the company by setting up "La Bottega", where it is possible to purchase the company's products directly, but not just that, in fact there are also cheeses, fruit, sweets and wines from the territory’s other producers, as if it were a bit of a "home of genuine food", where to buy safe and quality products.


The path taken is a step between tradition and innovation; on the one hand the genuine taste of the past remains intact, on the other the company offers customers new experiences: La Bottega offers tastings of cheese, yoghurt and cured meats paired with the best wines.

And after having purchased some of La Bottega’s products? You can stop in the "agriristoro" farm restaurant, where the chef offers meat dishes, cured meats, hams and the famous Montizzolo salami. Otherwise, you can organise a barbecue with friends at the "Campo Allegro", a lawn equipped with grills, tables, umbrellas and games for the kids, and cook your newly purchased products.
