Photographing Bergamo
Discover the top spots to see enchanting landscapes, photograph them and share them with your friends!

Bergamo and its territory are dotted with places that offer enchanting views. Thanks to the alternation of plains, hills and mountains, you will find panoramas that deserve to be immortalised by a photo shoot. San Vigilio Hill, the Campanone Bell Tower and the Rocca fortress in the Upper Town, the Salto degli Sposi and the Serio Waterfalls in the Seriana Valley, San Marco Pass in the Brembana Valley, San Defendente and Lake Iseo: these are just some of our suggestions. Once photographed, you can share them with your friends and don’t forget the hashtag #visitbergamo!

From the top of the Campanone Bell Tower there are unexpected views over Piazza Duomo and its jewels: Santa Maria Maggiore and the Colleoni Chapel.
Change perspective: from the Venetian walls that overlook the plain, from the Rocca fortress or from San Vigilio Hill, every angle provides for an amazing shot.
Between the mountains opens the blue-green expanse that is Lake Iseo: in the middle, Montisola, the largest lake island in Europe.
Bergamo’s Alps and pre-Alps alternate wide, green landscapes with those more rocky and steep. An exciting variety.
